LMS Fowler 3F Jinty, 0-6-0 Tank | |||||||||||
PROTOTYPE. Fowler designed this class of locomotive as the LMS standard shunting and general-purpose tank. 422 members of the class were built. They were often used for local passenger trains and some were fitted for push-pull working. Some of the class lasted to the end of steam and a number are preserved. KIT. The body is mainly brass. All of the chassis and some of the heavier body components are in nickel silver. Slide bars and valve gear is represented between the frames. The fit of all parts is very good. A nice level of cab detail is provided. The instructions are well illustrated. |
